Here is a sneak peek at the three layouts we'll be making this Saturday at the "Super-Saver" free scrapbooking sessions. We'll be using the brand new "Quite Contrary" collection by My Mind's Eye, which produces some of the highest quality products found in the scrapbooking market!

Your cost for all three layouts? An unbelievable $9, the cost of your materials! To sign up, just give us a call to pre-pay the $9 fee and assure yourself a spot in one of our four sessions (10, 11:30, 1 or 2:30 on Saturday, March 6). Please call early. We generally have between 80-100 people at our Super-Saver sessions, and we don't want you to be left out!

New goodies at Scrapbook Generation include the following...
-- Scrap Within Reach;

-- Star Wars papers by Creative Imaginations;

-- Three groups by Bella Blvd.;

-- an Easter collection by Creative Imaginations;
--and every single color of Smooch accent ink, including a new glittery "top coat."

In addition, we re-stocked our supplies of lots of fun products. To the best of my knowledge, in addition to every color of Smooch accent ink, we also have every color of regular Stickles, every color of Distress Stickles, every color of Shimmerz paint, and every color of Tim Holtz Adirondack paint dabbers...for a few days, at least!

Scrapbook Generation is helping spread the word that Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker is going to have its very first local Design Team, aptly named the Townhouse Divas! Nikki is looking for five talented people to join the team.

Katrina Hunt of Springfield will be the leader of this new Design Team. Many of you will remember Katrina from our world premiere in January of Nikki's latest products. She taught a mini-class and helped everyone become more acquainted with the new line.

"This team will be made up of talented scrapbookers in Springfield, MO and surrounding areas within a 40 mile radius," Katrina said. "Could you be one?! We want to keep this team close to Nikki's home base and we can have some local fun that way also!"

This team's main job will be slightly different, but not any less exciting or fun, than the Doghouse Divas Design Team. Most of the requirements will be around the CHA trade show (show is in January and July every year) and getting the new products sampled quickly. Another requirement will be making class samples, attending local crops and giving away prizes, etc.

"How fun does that sound," Katrina said. "Plus you will get to interact with the Doghouse Divas and join in on all their fun too! We may have to see just who can have the rowdiest house!"

On to the technical part of applying for the call:
This call starts immediately and will end at midnight on March 22, 2010 and the team will be announced on March 29th, 2010. This is a year term starting April 1, 2010 and lasting until March 31, 2011.

To submit, email the following information to
townhousedivasdtcall@yahoo.com Please write "Willie-B's Townhouse DT Call" in the subject line.

1. In a single paragraph tell us about your scrapbooking style and a little bit about you, too!

2. Please send a recent photo of you and a link to your blog and any online galleries in which you participate (include your user name or screen name). If you do not have a blog, would you be willing to start one?

3. Please only send 3 attachments in total, of the following:
*A single or double page layout about yourself;
*A card or paper project; and
*And any layout that shows your true scrapbooking style that you love and want us to see.

You'll want to check out Allison's blog today. She has a sneak peek at some of the detail work on a few of the layouts that will be included in the DVD gallery of 75 layouts. Every time she shows me a new layout, I can't believe the creative and unusual things she has done! You can click the link at right to go to her blog.

New arrivals this week at Scrapbook Generation (photos later!):
-- Scrap Within Reach -- two collections;
-- Creative Imaginations -- birthday and Star Wars collections

Expected later this week:
-- Bella Blvd -- three collections;
-- We R Memory Keepers -- two huge collections, including Easter;
-- Shimmering Products -- more colors of the glitzy new Shimmerz paints.

Other news:
As usual at the end of the month, we're working hard in the SG "kit club factory!" Mixed in with that, we're trying to get the decorations figured out for our three spring retreats, and trying to finish the DVD. We really have plenty to keep us busy, and this is probably why I'm having trouble sleeping!

The Scrapbook Generation presents "Stretch Your Scrapbooking with Allison Davis" DVD project is coming together nicely. We're working on sketch #24 of the 25 the DVD will include, and also completing the 75 layouts that will be part of the gallery. Our self-imposed goal is to have these to the DVD director/producer by the first of the month! In addition, Allison is in the middle of some talks with an outside group that may blow the lid off everything! We all feel that we're on the verge of something big with our sketch books and with the DVD. It's an awesome feeling mixed with a heavy dose of fear of being overwhelmed!

We're proud to present the January projects created by our Designers Challenge Club members, both locally and long-distance! The supply packet the club members worked with featured Crate Paper products including double-sided papers, die-cut papers, glitter borders, glitter die-cuts, and matching alphabet sets. The packet also included chipboard shapes by Bazzill and buttons by BasicGrey.

Club members have already been given their February packets, which feature the Cosmo Cricket "Earth Love" collection of papers. Something new this month is the addition of a 6x6 mini-pad of papers, which should be great for the card and mini-album makers in the group! The packet also includes a scalloped chipboard sheet by Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker, chipboard letters by KaiserCraft, and silk flowers by Prima. (We have three open spots in the club, and if you want to join, just give us a call. The monthly fee is only $15, and you have plenty of time to get your projects completed before the next club meeting on March 18.)

Following are the projects for January, minus the four people who were sick (including one with a trip to urgent care on meeting day) and another whose sister was in intensive care. We hope everyone is healthy soon! Missed all of you!
